MillionPlus is the Association for Modern Universities in the UK, and the voice of 21st century higher education.

We champion, promote and raise awareness of the essential role played by modern universities in a world-leading higher education.

We are driven by a strong commitment to robust research and evidence in policy decisions in order to support a successful and flourishing UK higher education system, which can rise to the global economic, social and cultural challenges of the 21st century.

What we do


MillionPlus is the voice of 21st century higher education.

It is a valuable and authoritative source of expertise, advice, and analysis of higher education policies and issues and, in particular, their impact on the aims and values of MillionPlus and modern universities.

We commission and publish evidence and research to inform higher education policy and support good decision making.

For our members we provide a supportive and collegiate forum to share good practice, fresh ideas and innovative solutions to problems.

We facilitate positive dialogue and discussion between leaders of modern universities and ministers, MPs, civil servants, members of the House of Lords, the National Union of Students and other important stakeholders.

We host networks for senior staff at modern universities in specialist areas including research, enterprise, employability, student recruitment and public affairs.
