OfS consultation on reportable events

The OfS consulted on revised guidance on reportable events, and new criteria for providers to support them in making decisions to report them. It also included some information on how the OfS will assess reportable events as part of its regulation of the F conditions. MillionPlus had previously raised concerns with the OfS about its approach on reportable events, arguing that the criteria were too broad, and as such incredibly challenging for providers to interpret accurately. This revised guidance improves the criteria significantly, so in this response we have acknowledged and welcomed it. However, we have noted that we continue to have concerns about the reporting deadlines proposed by OfS.
