Los Angeles Success for University of Bolton Film Alumni

Beating many other top quality entries in the competition, The Getaway won a string of awards including Best Student Film, Best Thriller and Best Science Fiction Film, in addition to receiving an Honorary Mention for Cinematography. The film is a story about alien beings taking over the world by replicating humans.
Filmmakers Nick Cooke, Stacey Johnson, Shervin Shirazian and Sofia Sourianou graduated from the university in 2017.
The Los Angeles Short Film Festival features short and feature films from all over the world and the award will be a powerful launch platform for the careers of these alumni.
