A Creative Writing PhD student at Leeds Trinity University has signed a two-book deal that will see her first novel published in July 2016.

Liz Flanagan signed the two-book deal with independent publisher David Fickling Books. The first of the two books to be published is Eden Summer, a young-adult novel described by the publisher as "a tense and thrilling journey through friendship, loss, betrayal and self-discovery".
