Creative Front Futures event at Anglia Ruskin University

20 Feb 2014

Creative Front Futures is a unique new event that will bring together young people and these creative businesses in a showcase of the extraordinary and diverse creativity and innovation that exists in Cambridge. The event is one in a series of Creative Front Cambridgeshire initiatives led by Anglia Ruskin University with the help of funding from VIVID (Value Increased by Visual Design), funded under the European Interreg IV A Programme "2 Mers Seas Zeeën".

Chris Owen, Head of the Cambridge School of Art at Anglia Ruskin University said: “The Creative Front Cambridgeshire initiatives are design to stimulate, incubate, grow and further the creative industries in the region.  This event will encompass inspirational talks, workshops and master-classes, together with an exhibition of creative Cambridge businesses, and we’re grateful for the support of VIVID which has made it all possible.

"Anglia Ruskin has a strong track record of harnessing creative talent, entrepreneurship, future-thinking knowledge transfer and connections between industry and academia.  We promote and profile a diverse range of creativity within the visual design sector in our region to build dynamic and sustainable relationships, establish a virtual creative incubator and provide creative showcase and networking opportunities for specific visual design sectors."

Creative Front Futures is free to attend and will take place from 9am to 5pm on 26th March at Cambridge Junction, CB1 7GX.  To register for a delegate place at Creative Front Futures or to find out more about the event, click here.
