Abertay receives a Race Equality Charter Mark

20 Oct 2016

Abertay University has become the first University in Scotland to receive a Race Equality Charter Mark.

The Race Equality Charter Mark aims to improve the representation, progression and success of minority ethnic staff and students within higher education.

Principal and Vice-Chancellor, Nigel Seaton said ‘I am very pleased indeed that our work on equality and diversity has been recognised by the Race Equality Charter Mark. The award process is a very demanding one, and our submission involved staff and students from across the University - the ‘Abertay family’ approach. I’m very proud of what our staff and students have achieved.’
