Leeds Trinity VC writes for the Telegraph
Vice-Chancellor at Leeds Trinity University, Professor Margaret House has written for the Telegraph, with a piece headlined: "Top universities are putting research before students and relying on 'designer label' reputation".
She writes: "As the Government moves forward with its white paper and higher education and research bill, it needs to reject a league-table mentality about what constitutes a first class university. It needs to look past the ‘designer label’ that some universities have become reliant upon and focus on the quality of education and care provided to each individual student."
