General election: register to vote
On 8 June the country will go to the polls for a general election. If you do not have a vote, you will not have a say in the direction the country will take for the duration of the next parliament.
- The deadline to add your details on the electoral register is Midnight on Monday 22 May. Register here.
- The deadline to register for a postal vote is 5pm on Tuesday 23 May. Apply for a postal vote here.
- The deadline to register for a proxy vote (to have someone vote on your behalf) is 5pm on Wednesday 31 May. Apply for a proxy vote here.
