Anglia Ruskin MA student wins inaugural Carmelite Prize

Mark Nicholas, an MA Children's Book Illustration student at Anglia Ruskin University, has won the first-ever Carmelite Prize which recognises excellence in children's book illustration.

Mark's style was described by the seven judges as “classically reassuring but with a contemporary characterisation and palette”. He will be offered a contract to illustrate The Story of Tantrum O’Furrily by bestselling author Cressida Cowell, and is the recipient of £1,000 in prize money.
