'What are A-Levels for?': roundtable report

Academics, politicians, business representatives and educational specialists gathered in Parliament to participate in a million+ roundtable discussion about A-Levels, hosted by Graham Stuart MP and Chair of the Education Select Committee. Ofqual is currently reviewing over 1,000 responses to its A-Level reform consultation, and is due to publish its evaluation in early November. The roundtable participants took the view that the proposal for a phased timetable of reforms is unfeasible and risked creating an unbalanced system.
