million+ Chair awarded a CBE in the New Year's Honours List
Professor Les Ebdon, Vice Chancellor of the University of Bedfordshire, has been awarded a CBE (Commander of the British Empire) by the Queen in the New Year’s Honours List. He is one of only a small select number of people who receive this prestigious award each year. It is in recognition of his outstanding contribution and service to higher education.
Professor Ebdon has become prominent in national circles in higher education during this time. In addition to chairing million+ he also Chairs Universities UK’s Student Experience Policy Committee and In 2007 the Prime Minister appointed him to the National Council for Education Excellence.
