million+ response to UKBA’s decision on London Metropolitan University’s license to sponsor visas

million+, the university think-tank, has criticised the UK Borders Agency’s (UKBA) decision today to revoke London Metropolitan University’s ‘Highly Trusted Status’ for sponsoring international students. Current international students at the university will have 60 days to find another sponsor.

Pam Tatlow, Chief Executive of the university think-tank million+, said: “The UKBA has played fast and loose with the international reputation of the UK’s world class higher education system. It now needs to make sure that no student misses out, whether they have already started their course or were planning to start in the autumn.”
