Universities will be directly affected by clauses 21-27 and 38 of the Counter-Terror and Security Bill to be discussed at Second Reading in the House of Lords. This update to our previous briefings includes recent recommendations from the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Human Rights that universities should not be within the scope of this Bill.
