Going green - Bath Spa University

Over the last two years, Environmental Managers from Kier Services, Jamie Edmonds and Chris Grimes, have been working with Bath Spa students as part of the BSc in Environmental Science. Jamie and Chris are both alumni having completed their undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the university.
This collaboration provides students with opportunities to work on projects with Kier Services, enhancing the employability of graduates. The collaboration has also helped shape the MSc in Environment Management through specialist input from Jamie and Chris.
The ongoing collaboration between Bath Spa University and Kier Services was recognised at the International Green Apple Awards for Environmental Best Practice and Sustainable Development, winning a silver award in 2014. The awards were presented at the Houses of Parliament and aim to recognise, reward and promote environmental best practice.
