University of Cumbria Vice-Chancellor discusses the impact of declining teacher training numbers on schools

Professor Peter Strike, Vice-Chancellor of University of Cumbria has been featured in an article for Times Higher Education detailing why the government School Direct teacher training scheme is proving damaging for schools and institutions alike.

Professor Strike expresses how school partners have been angered and are losing out after spending “scarce resources building their infrastructure to engage with School Direct”.
