Pam Tatlow, Chief Executive, million+ will be speaking at the Westminster Higher Education forum entitled ‘UK universities as a destination of choice for international students - recruitment, regulation, student experience and global competition’.
Pam will be on a panel discussing: ‘Student visas: regulation and its impact so far’. Topics covered will include the effects to universities of the 10% cap on visa rejections, the effects to universities and students of the counter-terrorism Prevent strategy and concerns that the UK may be perceived as being unwelcome to international students due to immigration regulations.
Other speakers on the day include Brian Johnson, Head of International Higher Education, BIS and representatives from HE institutions, English UK, and National Union of Students.
