'A Postgraduate Strategy for Britain' launch

million+ launched its latest publication: ‘A Postgraduate Strategy for Britain’ on Tuesday 2nd March in the House of Commons, Terrace Pavilion. It sets out a vision for postgraduate provision in UK HE that expands excellenct, innovation and opportunity for all.

It has been prepared partly in response to Professor Adrian Smith’s government review led from within the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills.

Speakers for the event included Roberta Blackman-Woods MP, David Willetts MP, Stephen Williams MP, Aaron Porter (NUS), Tim Boswell MP and Les Ebdon – Chair of million+.

The event included short speeches by political representatives on proposals and recommendations contained within our report, an exhibition of postgraduate research students’ work from across million+ member universities and a drinks reception for all attendees.
